About Toughies

At Toughies we focused on exceptional quality, affordability, and custom designs for pajamas in newborn all the way to youth sizes. Our sibling brand, Buckaroo Baby, is trusted and loved by thousands of customers. The difference between the two brands is the fabric. The signature fabric used in all Toughies clothing is made from sustainable and simple - Organic cotton. Cotton has been used for babies dating back to the old west. Its' tried and true qualities make it an easy go-to fabric to produce the best of the west, Toughies pjs. 

Toughies and Buckaroo Baby are run by a ranch family in Northern California. We spend our daily lives checking cattle, gathering, sorting, loading out trucks, and raising miniature appaloosas. When we aren't working on the cattle ranch we are designing and creating pajamas. All our hand drawn and custom designs are inspired by our life on the ranch. 

Our small business started when we noticed there was a lack go western inspired footie pajamas for babies. Naturally we wanted to dress our children in prints that reflect our lifestyle so we set out to create the first exclusively western baby footie company. First came Buckaroo Baby (Luxe Bamboo) and then the little baby brother brand Toughies (Organic Cotton).
